Jesus commissions these ordinary, imperfect disciples to make disciples by welcoming others into God’s covenant family, teaching the transformative way of Jesus, and helping people grow in faith. Pastor Jennie challenged the congregation to see mission not as a distant or specialized task but as a daily calling to welcome, teach, and form others through authentic relationships, hospitality, and faithful living. She reminded listeners that this mission is sustained not by human ability but by the power and presence of the risen Christ, who promises to be with His people always.
