In this sermon, we explored Psalm 138, a Psalm of Thanksgiving and praise, showing us that even amidst the troubles of the world, giving thanks to God is always the right response. David, the author of this Psalm, emphasizes that praising God with our whole heart is essential because of God’s steadfast love, faithfulness, and the fulfillment of His promises. We learned that God’s love is unwavering and that He is always there for us, even in times of trouble. The sermon reminded us that praising God isn’t just an act of gratitude but a response to His unchanging goodness. Despite life’s challenges and uncertainties, we can always find strength in praising God. Just as David praised God with his whole heart, we are encouraged to do the same, knowing that God’s love endures forever.
