Healing Conflict in the Church

Series: A Unique Unity

Rooted in 1 Corinthians 6:1–8, this message challenges us to rethink how we handle conflict within Christian community. Paul rebukes the Corinthian believers for dragging one another into secular courts, especially in a system rife with injustice and privilege. He calls the Church to a higher standard—resolving disputes with humility, love, and Spirit-led wisdom from within the body of Christ. Today, we may not take each other to court, but we often deal with conflict through gossip, resentment, or silent exits. This message reminds us that our calling is not comfort, but courageous truth-telling that leads to healing and unity. As disciples, we’re invited to approach one another with vulnerability, grace, and accountability—because how we handle conflict directly impacts our witness to a watching world.
