In this sermon, we reflected on God’s promise of peace and how it calls us to live out that peace in our everyday lives. We were reminded that peace is not just a static concept but an active, dynamic force that intertwines with righteousness, as described in Psalm 85. Despite the conflicts and divisions in our world today, we believe that Christ’s example of nonviolence and love shows us the path to true peace. As a church, we are called to embody this peace by reaching out to those who are different from us, extending love, respect, and empathy, even when it’s challenging. May we continue to follow Christ’s example and be peacemakers in our communities and beyond.
